Springtime is the land awakening

Mahlouk was walking back from Crimson Dream. He was sore, but it was a comfortable sore. One that seeped into your bones and body and you remembered each time how you had become that way. Each time he remembered a shiver of need went down his spine and he was almost tempted to turn back. His wolf form felt awkward at the moment, after being in his luperci form for a few hours doing something that brought a blush to his emotionless face. Sighing he got back onto AniWaya lands with Boo dangling from his maw.

His mind kept going back to Jasper. Why had he tracked the male down? Had it been because he was angry with him, or because he had been ready to do it again? Trying not to think about it to much the scarred male kept walking while carrying Boo. It was the strong scent of smoke that made him stop. Lifting his nose to the air he let the smell drag into his lungs so he could be sure he smelt it. Mahlouk was sure he smelt it now.

Feeling curiosity and concern rise in his breast the story keeper started in the direction he felt it was strongest. As the smell got stronger, Mahlouk swore the heat did to. The he wolf picked up a jog going on until he finally saw the yellow and oranges of the flames. Slowing down some he remembered a time when the heat of those flames had licked his flesh to seal the pictures of his scars. A sudden streak of fear raced through his body and he stopped for an instant.

It was the sight of Dawali that made the fear recede. Moving ahead with Boo in his maw he saw that the fire was in control and other pack members were there, including the girl named Catherine who he had rudely told off one night. Mahlouk thought to apologize to her when he got the chance. The scarred male was sad to not see Ayegali there, but what could he do? Walking towards his fellow pack mates his face was blank while his teddy bear companion hung from his mouth. He hoped that the others wouldn't notice the strong smell of sex and male hanging on his coat. It almost made him turn and walk in the other direction. The tall white male went to Dawali's side an sat putting Boo between his two front paws. "Hello." He said lightly, not looking at the strangers already knowing the looks he would get because of his scars.
