As he stood there, squinting at the sun, the male did not at first notice the boy coming towards him. The flowing river carried away the scents in the area, and he had blinded himself momentarily by looking directly at the great star. However, it did not take long before he could hear something moving - for he'd grown up by a river, and he knew their sounds well. This sound was not the sound of a river, and when he enlarged his nostrils for a second he noticed a smell which was neither his own, not the river's. Before the man could pinpoint exactly whose smell it was, however, a ball of white came hurtling at him, revealing the master of the scent. It was Attila, the largest of Tay's pups. He seemed to be the more unruly of them, if one took into consideration that Noir only wanted positive attention, whilst Attila would take either.

His face plummeted towards the ground as the naughty child wrapped his form around the red male's legs, and he crashed into the ankle-high water with a loud sound of surprise. Instinctively he shook his legs to rid them of their hinder, and whilst doing so he looked to the child with a scornful look. Attila! You get off this very instant! Shaking his lanky legs carefully, he did not want to accidentally harm the boy, even if he was acting out of line. Oh he would hear it once the male got on his feet. It was no way to behave towards the leader of the pack, and certainly not when his family had been shown such great care under his watchful eyes! He would do well to be a little more humble.
