The elder sighed and shook his head when the boy could not even apologize properly when rectified. It was a disgrace, really. His gaze went to the water below him, in thought, for what did he have to do to shake some honor into this boy? Did he not even remotely care about his social standing, making friends, or how everyone saw him from the outside? It troubled him, and for a moment he blamed himself - being sort of a father figure for the children, he thought perhaps he had not been there enough. But then he remembered that Attila had been bullying his smaller brother since they were born and able, and the blame he placed on himself was swept away. Attila was simply a trouble-child, and perhaps he had to accept him as such. Though, he did not want to do so, and right now he was certainly not in the mood to do so!

Dawali lifted his eyes from having stared downward in thought, and found that the child had already cast his own behavior away from his worries, and was now stalking in the water. Perhaps for a fish - Dawali did not know, as his angle to the sun made him unable to see the movements below the surface. Since the leader was polite, unlike the child, he did not interrupt, and let the boy stalk his lunch in silence. Surprisingly enough he managed to catch the fish, and while Dawali was in fact impressed by this, his mood was not milder. The boy had disregarded their conversation and begun to entertain himself instead, showing no will to even consider himself in the eyes of others, and again acting disrespectfully towards his leader. Had it been another who had the reins he might not be as flexible and understanding, and if Attila kept up this behavior he could put himself in bad situations. It was Dawali's responsibility to take control of that, even if the child annoyed him to no end.

His face was stern and parent-like as he looked at the boy with the arrogant pose. Then, speaking up, his tone made it clear that the fish was of no interest to him whatsoever, and that he considered his behavior increasingly disrespectful. Congratulations, you now have lunch. Tell me, what good is it to apologize for something when you leave to do something like that in the middle of a conversation? You should learn from your mistakes, Attila - not repeat them. The male paused for a small moment to look at the fish as it bounced this way and that, gasping for water. You would perhaps benefit from some work within the pack..?
