The hybrid let the bag hit the ground and nudged it with her silky muzzle until it was open and ready to devour unconscious rodents. This had overall been a very good idea. The Lykoi girl would enjoy watching Zana in proper action, as she was uncertain if that seagull back at the beach had been a mere lucky shot or not. Ruby eyes followed the shifted form of the slightly younger girl. Halo usually refrained from acknowledging skills in another before evidence was granted. The other girl seemed to know her little odd weapon well, and already before she started Halo believed that she had underestimated the other. The Lykoi girl followed the shifted female when she took of in order to find a nice spot to shoot from. She stayed close behind the other although making sure she was not too close so that there would be any body contact. Copper ears folded backwards in silent expectation and eyes found those moving targets and narrowed in pleasure when they slowly dropped, clearly affected by some kind of crippling poison or something.

Her body moved, tossing her down into the sea of bones. Halo elegantly made her way to the fallen and falling rodents, gently picking them up only to toss them into the open bag. A short glance sought out the girl above her, and the dark youth had no difficulties returning the smile with a rare sincerity. It was quite enjoyable to have a female companion for once. There had always been something missing in her life. Surrounded by masculine males, she had truly missed the company of another of the same gender, although she had been oblivious of this. Now she knew, and she enjoyed the pleasant feeling it gave her. They had gathered a good number of rodents in a matter of minutes. It was quite amazing. Halo had used hours tracking down and catching her previous pets. If she had not been so content with her new friend, she would have been full of envy for the girl’s obvious skill with the little weapon.
