It was safe to say that Anu had not seen anything like it. The thing flew in the sky like a bird, though with as much grace and agility as a fledgling. It seemed like its wings were too small for its body, the flapping to slow or the wing too light. It fluttered on a slow streaming current, but her eyes remained bright with excitement and with the success of its flight. She found it hard to tear her gaze away, but won the battle as she found his own smiling face. The grey wolf spoke, and she caught his excitement as easily as she had stole the concern he had felt when they first met. Hey., her response filled with energy.

At the mention of the object Anu looked to the sky again, a kite? She wondered if it was made form the bird, or it there was no connection at all. It certainly didn’t fly with the same precision the bird of prey had. Just fine. Anu answered, a smile on her face as she watched the kite teeter on the breeze. What about you? Their last meeting had been and interesting one, and Anu had a certain feeling that this would like their first.
