Noir did no longer like Dawali. She was sure that uncle Ho would have harmed Baby Duck. He had scared the poor bird, and it was not odd that it had hurt him like that. The Aniwayan leader did not listen, and believed he knew everything. He did not know Baby Duck or uncle Ho, so he could not say such things. He only got angry when Noir stated that he did not care because he did not seem to care so how could she react any differently than this? She flattened her ears fully and refused to listen to that mean and angry noise that the leader’s voice made when he spoke firmly down to her. Why should she be ashamed for saying the truth! Mom had put her into place, Dawali was putting her into place. Nobody listened to her or cared to listen to her point of view! He did not understand why she had bit uncle Ho, and he had not bothered to see that she was sad and regretted doing it. They were stupid both of them. She wanted to run away from the whole scene. She hated her face when she was crying, because it became so wet and her nose got clogged.
Dawali’s voice grew softer, but the words he chose made her feel like a dumb child. He did not understand! ”But uncle Ho has not seen my Baby before and he kills fish with his bum.” the girl whined miserably, though no longer expecting the adult to understand. She was sulking and she knew it. Everything was so sad. Uncle Ho spoke and said that he wanted to come stay with her. So now it was certain that he had come to stay with her, but now because she had bit him he would go far away and never come back and Noir would never ever in the world experience a happy moment ever again. Still weeping and sniffling, the girl dragged her sorry form over to her uncle and sat down on top of his feet, sticking her head in-between his ankles. ”U-uncle Hoo, p-please don’t goooess..” Perhaps there was meant to be a longer sentence, but another sob forced its way out of her and did not allow her to finish.
