Heat waves shuddered through her body, sending Anya gasping into the night. She knew that if she didn't get out of the rain soon, her body would fail.

The female's voice sounded familiar as it approached, but Anya could barely form a coherant thought, much less identify voices. Her breath started wheezing in her throat, and she began seeing forms again.

"Father, don't! He did nothing to you!" Anya cried out into the darkness, deep in her delusion. She was reliving the worst night of her life: the night that Malaki had snarled at his father out of turn and died as a consequence.
"Father, you are dead to me. Why do you insist on haunting me?!"

Darkness overwhelmed her, and she fell deep into the sleep that guards from unwanted memories.
