She wanted to come with a witty and typical remark to his words in form of a compliment, but decided against it. Well, it was settled that he was not dead alright. A break from what? Was he actually swimming? Plain wonder affected her facial expression as she wondered why this was. Halo had not truly had the mind set of a warrior. More than anything she was just slowly drifting around doing nothing. Her new rank was the same as apprentice warrior, was it not? Halo had never even been in a proper fight before. If the hybrid was to take her clan rank seriously, she would have a lot of work to do. Training to be done, knowledge to be gathered. Nah, Halo was more of a quiet assassin or simply a one on one terminator if it would come to that. An ideal setting for her would be a victim that could be played with. The oddly named girl had her rodents and tons of additional ideas of how to play and execute a being. It was a fucking shame that the Addison girl had survived her little pets.

The girl rather liked the amber-gold hue of the young male’s eyes, but he had shut his eyes. He should have been looking at her with adoration by now. Halo gave a short and low snort, wondering why so few of the males she had met here gave shit about her delicate appearance. There had been that dog.. The girl’s dark ears flattened just at the thought. Ew. ”Are you practising swimming? Why?” the girl finally asked, genuinely curious of the exact reason why. Was it fun perhaps?
