With his head rested against the tree he closed his eyes for a moment in an attempt to clear his thoughts, though it was a futile task. There was too much flying around in there to clear it all out. The face of Princess flashed before his mind's eye, though the image was more blurry than sharp. Did he really feel anything more than lust for her? Haven thought he did. Even though he had been intoxicated, none of the fuzzy memories he held of her were negative. In fact they were all positive. Had Jac really been right? That going out and finding a new lover was the best cure for what had happened to him? It turned his stomach a bit, thinking that way, but he couldn't deny that the pain of Siobhan's abandonment was dulled now.

Jade eyes remained closed until he heard movement nearby. Bi-colored ears twitched and he looked to find the perpetrator of the commotion. There was a coyote coming towards him. Great... Haven really hadn't wanted company. He would much prefer to be alone right now, but apparently his solitude had been shattered. With a soft grunt he rose back to his feet and faced the approaching male. "Hey," he said, his tone flat. It wasn't meant to sound rude in the least, but he really couldn't muster a happy face right now.
