Calling on Blue Skies

Jaz, hurray!

The Sun shone. Looking down on the world with a smile of warm raze. It caught the glass of her window, letting the light pour through the panes. It woke her, a god of heat and consistency. Every day, he rose on one side of the horizon and set on the other. It was the lords of clouds and rain that covered him; they were the ones of inconsistency. A simple greeting, quick to rise and descend the stairs Anu wanted to begin the day. Hesitation would not rule her, not when times had become hard. Crimson Dreams was in transition, a change that Anu had not wanted to go through. Exiting the Manor her eyes were drawn to the sky, the golden orb looked to her and gave her courage and confidence. Hesitation would breed insecurity among the pack. She needed to be strong, strong as steal, as solid as a rock and yet as warm as the Sun.

Walking through the clear morning she found that the Sun was higher then expected. It seemed like the day had already begun and if she did not hurry she would miss it entirely. With the Sun came the summer heat, and as she strolled through the simple landscapes she tended Anu found her trail drifting towards the lake. With soft steps the woman moved over the Sun dried grasses, the shadows of the plush canopy dappled soft tones of gray over her face. The lake came into view, its shone gleaming under the smile of the Sun.

A figure stood at the shore, things Anu had never known standing beside him. The height and size meant only one creature. “Jaz.” She called, her soft voice matched with a small wave. Strength would not be needed, not at this moment. It was only warmth she would bring.
