» eee. -tosses something up quick before she has to go to the store!-

More of them were gathering. A blood-thirsty yowl, no weaker for its femininity, rose up nearby. Although Anselm failed to recognise the coyote who'd called, he understood her message: she was very near their target. He jumped from his perch upon the boulders, crouching as he absorbed the recoil of landing and using this pent up energy to spring him forward all at once. Now that he had a good idea where the fool was, he could stick to the beaten paths and move faster than ever. He selected one of the paths that cut off to his right, driving him now northeast toward Jezebel's call.

Anselm moved at what could only be described as a full charge--the bulkiness of his half-shifted form prevented him from moving with more grace at such speeds. The hybrid regularly sprinted around the borders; every morning without fail, and usually once more in the evening. Lately his patrols had increased because of this bastard, and though his mouth was open, tongue lolled to one side as he gulped down the air, he felt no stress or strain for his actions. This was where he shone--and this was where Inferni was at its best. He remembered them coming together to stomp out Andre... undoubtedly, this would be no different. The idiot didn't stand a chance.
All of a sudden Anselm caught the fresh trail of the wolf, and now he moved with more determination than ever. Up ahead in the distance he could see their prey, tail tucked between his legs and ears back as the grey wolf tore through the mud and fled for his life. A twisted grin found its way upon his face, and he let out another powerful call as he pressed forward to alert the others of their whereabouts. He could scent some of his packmates nearby. They were on the cusp of victory.
