alatino Linotype;font-size:12px;line-height:13px;color:#000000;">OMG 666! Rah!! Right, so I'm gonna say we FINALLY end it here and they go hunting and get settled and all that good stuff.

The building that had been designated by the small bed symbol on the subway’s old map was actually still standing. It was his father’s navigation skills that had steered them in the right direction, and Silas grinned over at Rurik for that, even if the older Russo didn’t catch it. While Rurik inspected the integrity of the building, Silas simply stood alongside Lily and let his icy gaze travel over the motel. He wanted to get a good picture of it so that he could begin the process of learning their surroundings. In the dim light, the building looked rather mysterious to him. Eventually, though, Silas knew he would get used to the fact that this was going to be home.

The young Russian took a few steps forward as Rurik opened the first door, eager to head inside. His father, however, deemed it unusable and Silas took a few steps back with a frown. He hadn’t seen what was inside (and wasn’t sure if he wanted to know) and could only hope one of the other rooms would be acceptable. Moving alongside Lily again, Silas threw a glance over his shoulder, taking in the crumbling city that surrounded them. Though he had the feeling they were alone here for now, the Russian half expected to find a figure lurking in the darkness. There was no such thing.

Rurik found rooms suitable for the little family, and then it was time for them to get settled. He sent Liliya off to their ship in order to gather the supplies they’d need for the night, and left both father and son to do a little hunting. The youth wondered how hard it’d be to catch something in the city, and thought perhaps they’d have to head to the outskirts. He hoped it wouldn’t be too complicated of a journey. "Aye, let’s go."
