titillating exposé

Well, my ass wandered over here in time but the rest of me got distracted by shiny things.

Another rainy day, this time a little cooler than it had been before. Hezekiah had taken a moment of refuge beneath the heavy boughs of a pine tree before skirting out from under it, moving as swiftly as he could in his lupus form to stay out of the heaviest of the downpours through the spotty canopy. It seemingly didn't matter how hard he worked to stay dry, because in a matter of minutes he looked nothing like a fuzzy, dry, woodsy coyote; he looked like a drowned big-eared rat. Thinking it was better to start heading towards the caves (because at least there, he knew he could find a hole to be dry in), Hezekiah turned northward and made his move quickly and quietly through the dense wood.

However, it was in a flash of a moment that he caught sight of a fair-haired clan member out of the corner of his eye as he snaked his way underneath a fallen log propped up by its neighbours. That descry caused him to divert his path to head towards her, innately curious and concerned as to why she was holed up out in the open of the forest just as he had been. Approaching her with a certain amount of unease, Hezekiah took in her shifted figure and the garment wrapped around her waist but couldn't quite pull the smell of Inferni from her at such a distance. But she seemed so forlorn and well, damp… and he was gullible.

“Are you okay?” he queried, with just the faintest wag of his tail, his way of stating his silent concern. “Why are you just sitting out here in the rain?” Wouldn't she get just as cold as he did when it was all said and done?
