The young boy gazed up at the raining sky, wondering when it would light up again. The days were turning darker. He was not certain if he liked that. As always he was thinking of Alexey. A few months ago she had kicked him out of her bed and her room. When would she take the next step and kick him out of the house? Nothing had been brought up, but the young male still feared it. He shivered at that thought. Weren’t wolves supposed to sleep together in groups originally? He had no idea. Things had changed and Conor only knew how things were now. What could be wrong to live close together with another pack member? Could that be wrong? Was that wrong? Such silly thoughts. There were lots of them everywhere. He was becoming better at controlling them, but they sometimes popped up anyway. Only because he cared. He led a comfortable life here now. His father was never to be seen and he was starting to know the pack better. He couldn’t wait to get his adult rank and start taking more responsibilities. His aunt had taught him the art of reading and it was great. So much to read and there never seemed to be enough time. He had read under a tree not too far away from Cwmfen’s home, but had closed the book and stuck it close against his chest when it started to rain again. Violet eyes merely gazed at the falling water now, absent with thought.
