Okay, totally not a mandatory thread, but Inferni is going to be ridiculous and celebrate Halloween/Samhain/Devil's Night. This thread is set for OCTOBER 30th, at night. Someone should totally raid a closet and they should dress-up. XD

Derp, derp--also, I am an ass and I forgot to mark this MATURE for substances and alcohol and all those things. XP

And a posting order, lulz:

Hybrid

mall-caps;">In Character

The silvery hybrid tilted her head back, parting her charcoal lips for an instant to allow a swig of the dark liquor to slide down her throat, burning like fire all the way down. Her back was pressed against a tree, her glowering golden eye staring blankly forward as she set the bottle next to her, her silver fingers ringing it tightly still. There were thoughts, wicked and vile ones, still swirling about her head, and almost as soon as the glass bottom of the bottle hit the ground it was raised again to her lips, drawing more of the numbing alcohol into her body. The hybrid woman needed that more than anything now; simply not to feel. She could no longer sleep to keep the memory of him at bay; her body was not physically damaged and it desired to rest no longer, itching and craving for the open plains she and the coyotes called home.

Kaena hadn't been around much in a week. She had holed up in her cave; thank fuck it was empty—Fatin was off to god knows where again, and even if the silvery hybrid needed the russet woman's companionship more than anything else in the world, it was almost better not to face her after... The coyote woman's lips drew tightly into a snarl, and she drank again, just to keep her mind from wandering back to that dark place. The hybrid drew a ragged breath, all whiskey and fire coming with it, her yellowed eye a slit as she watched the sun go down. The coyote craved the open outdoors after hardly leaving her dwelling for a week, and it was only that instinctual need which had driven her here in the first place. She tilted her head back, leaning her skull against the tree, and closed her eye, drawing in a breath as the alcohol swirled about her head, bringing with it a relieving sense of numb forgetfulness.
