Vieira's existence was not without contemplation from Kaena; the hybrid had spent long hours in the last few nights considering the tawny-furred woman. Part of Kaena wished to relinquish her and leave someone else to deal with the pieces; the hybrid woman had enough of her own drama to busy her for a long time. Another part of the hybrid recognized the absolute indoctrination that had been given to Vieira in her youth, and that part of Kae understood that Viei would not have survived on her own. She had never been free to interact with others socially before, and Kaena expected that from her, to some extent, though she was now beginning to realize the smaller canine would never do these things without Kaena's permission. "That's better, hm?" the hybrid inquired, and again her voice was rough, almost gravelly in tone, but this was Kaena's usual intonation. Vieira seemed much more content, and the hybrid noticed the smile; this provoked the smallest ghost of one from the silver-furred coyote, and she buckled down to enjoy her own meal, satisfied with the atmosphere around them now that the other canine was also enjoying her food.
