Watch as the sky turns black

Nothing else would have dragged Tokyo forth but the call of a leader, and she was rather annoyed that such occured. She was not feeling very pretty at the moment. She had spent the last few hours just brushing her fur, trying to do what she could, but.. ugh! She was so fat it was disgusting. If she didn't have the fact that this was temporary to keep her sane, she didn't think she could survive like this. Surely, death was better than ugliness. How did so many people survive so long without being pretty? It was the fate she feared most, that lurked in her nightmares like the boogeymen of puppies. Soon, soon, soon. Two and a half weeks, about, until two months were up and then she could get these goddamn bulky things out of her body. And as much as she hated puppies, she was actually looking forward to their birth and existence because that meant they would finally be out of her way.

But Haku had called. And so she must come, picking her way slowly and awkwardly from her den to the town square, cursing the rain with every plodding step as it splashed mud up on silky fur. She couldn't even shift to make the run faster, not without endangering the lives of her children and (way more importantly) herself. She was too annoyed at the imposition at first to actually contemplate what the meeting was about, but the paltable tension hanging in the air as she approached the group lit fire to her curiousity. Cercelee wasn't there, which honestly Tokyo was fairly happy about. The annoying white leader was the reason her beautiful daughter Princess no longer resided in Dahlia de Mai.

Glancing around the circle of wolves, a thought struck her mind. Did Haku even know he was going to be made a father soon? Probably not.. she really hadn't even seen anyone since she found out herself, which was when she had started to show. When she had started to hide herself in her den. Generally speaking, the space directly nearby Haku was left abandoned. Well and good, she picked her way over and settled down next to him. Presumptuous, maybe. But she was carrying his children, and felt like that entitled her to something. And anyway, there really weren't that many wolves left that were higher rank then her, and Alexey and Slay were keeping their distance. The latter wouldn't even sit. Ohh, what sort of tasty drama was going on here?
