Hybrid frowned when the male spoke once more, trying desperately not to lunge at him again. Hybrid did not believe this creature at all. There was nothing sincere in his plea. And, of course, Hybrid had a terrible bias against him. Of course, his only true prejudice stemmed from his hatred of wolves, but even that could be derived from his love commitment to his clan. Hybrid was doing this for the betterment of Inferni. They didn't need some weak, cowardly fool among them. They were better off without him. Hybrid knew quite well what such characters did to the clan, and we would not allow it to happen again.

The hybrid began to speak again, but Hybrid tried to override him. He raised his head slightly. His lip twitched, and he regarded the boy with an obvious air of distaste.

"Yeah? Then stop wasting my time and get out," he replied. But Silas mentioned something that piqued Hybrid's interest: Gabriel and Kaena. What did this boy know about them? "What're they to you? You can't just go fuckin' namedroppin' and expect results. What do you want?"
