The younger woman felt uncomfortable. Her descriptions were not that great, she was not a social creature, and trying to informer her owner of the conversation that went on when she had a hard time with it to begin with was not the easiest thing to do. Kaena took the information she gave and asked if that was all. Vieira's ears fell back against her head slowly and she felt her digits expand against the cave floor. "He was upset," she said, as if warning the other woman for when she saw her son again. The man was not full of butterflies and rainbows and seemed upset about the idea of a slave. Inferni was not as open to it as Eterne had been but Vieira could not change herself.
It was just an option for her.
"He asked about the cut on my face," she said softly. It was not important, really, but if Gabriel asked Kaena about it and a different answer was provided, there would be trouble on her end. The woman almost remained silent but her jaws parted and while fear controlled her, she said: "I said it was an accident." Vieira did not like to lie, especially to those of power, but Kaena was her owner. Between the ruler of Inferni and Kaena, Kaena was who she responded to first. Her allegiance was in her paws. Gabriel was important and Vieira knew this, but Kaena came first and she had to protect her if she could.
