Don't mind the long initial post XD SoSuWriMo 427

Finally the wayward hybrid was returning to the clan lands, though she wasn’t planning on making the stay back at home too extended. She needed to take everything she had picked up in the city back to her cave and then she’d settle down and catch wind of how things were going. If she was comfortable with the happens she’d stick around and if things were still rubbing her the wrong way then she’d go off and do some more exploring again. It probably seemed like she was being a pretty lousy member, but honestly she was doing this so she could get acclimated and actually stick around. Going from living in a hippie commune to Inferni was a pretty drastic change and it had substantially shocked her system. The woman just needed to take some baby steps so she wouldn’t bolt at the first sign of trouble. Rikka wasn’t incredibly flighty, but there were things that could send her running.

Her pack jangled as it bounced against her thigh. Arms were filled with blankets and one downy comforter. She had had to stop several times on the trek back to rest her arms. It wasn’t the weight, but the way that she had to hold all the items that was so tiring. Vaguely she remembered seeing some odd cart thing with wheels back in the city. She should have grabbed on of those, it would have made hauling all this back much easier. Oh well, she’d remember it next time around. Not only had she grabbed blankets, but some dye to use for tie dying along with twin and a shirt or two. She would need to still find gloves to protect her hands and something to mix the dye in, but she could find those on her next trip. The city was chock full of goodies and Rikka couldn’t wait to bring more home.

The caves came into sight and she had to carefully pick her way around to avoid tripping over the terrain. This was exceedingly difficult considering it was hard to see with all the stuff she had in her arms, so she had to rely on using her feet to feel their way along slowly. It almost seemed it would take as long to get to her cave as it had to get back to Inferni from the city, but finally she made it and with a huff unloaded her finding at the mouth of her dwelling. The hybrid stretched out her arms and back, glad that her journey back was complete.
