It felt strange using his Optime form. Hybrid usually found it to be bulky and annoying, and much preferred his Secui form over his other two; however, he knew had to be proficient in all his forms to be worthy of calling himself a Hydra. Hybrid took his role in Inferni very seriously; perhaps too seriously. After all, he gave himself his own tasks and frequently patrolled the borders, even though it was not his duty to do so specifically. Regardless, he thought it should be a necessary task for all members, as they could never be sure when they would find a filthy trespasser.

Hybrid moved slowly as he walked through the snowy territory, pausing only when he lost his balance. The ground was slippery, and Hybrid was unused to his Optime form. This forced him to constantly reconsider every movement, as he did not want to slip and injure himself.

As Hybrid neared the caves, he let out a breath of relief. He could not wait to relax in the comfort of his home in his Secui form. He began to jog, moving south along the coast. He kept up the pace for a few minutes, but slowed down when he noticed the form of an Infernian in the distance. He frowned, wondering if Corona had returned. She was the only yellow coyote he knew of, and it would be nice to see one of Gabriel's siblings return. Although she had not been as bloodthirsty as Hybrid or Kaena, she'd had a level head, and had not condoned Hybrid's actions (which was good enough for him). As he neared the other canine, he began to question his initial assumption. She had a different scent, and it was nothing like Corona's.

"Hey," he called out sharply, moving closer. He frowned, letting his arms hang loosely at his sides. He did not know what to do with them, so he just left them where they were. He would figure it out later.
