The yellowish coyote had entered her den for a moment, but re-emerged quickly enough once she heard Hybrid's call. She moved quickly, and for a moment, Hybrid wondered if he had startled her. The female was a slightly paler version of her sister, and Hybrid wondered if the two were related. He wouldn't be surprised to find out they were cousins of some sort, considering how closely connected Inferni was, and how many family members were coming and going. Even Hybrid's own family had shown up for a time, with his mother instigating the Dahlian war.

As the hybrid turned, Hybrid noticed her coat was not as solid as Corona's, with flecks of silver and grey streaking down her back. Soon enough, she spoke, repeating Hybrid's greeting back to him, then posing a question. Hybrid's frown deepened, wondering who she might be. He shrugged in reply, not sure what to say. He had not really thought very far ahead as to what he would say to her when she saw him, or if he even wanted to talk to her. Hybrid was now in a conversation. Damnit.

"You looked familiar; I thought you were someone else for a moment. Who are you?" He posed his question without a pause, allowing his words to flow into one another. He hadn't really thought out his reply too well, either. He clenched his jaw, wondering if there was something else he should say, or if he could just leave once she answered his question. She would probably ask who he was in return, too. Hybrid couldn't remember if he had introduced himself, but he didn't think it really mattered, did it? She probably would not want to speak with him anyways, and if she did, Hybrid did not think she would have anything interesting to say anyways.
