No matter how much she wanted to counter what Hybrid said, on this point he was right. Rikka wouldn't dare invite any friends that were wolves to the clan. It was simply too dangerous for them. She would tell them to meet her int he city or some other place where their well being would not be put at stake. She wouldn't go so far as to say that whoever might have invited the foreigner was at fault, but they should have been a bit more careful as to choose where to meet up. It was too easy for someone who couldn't abide wolves at all, like Hybrid, to run across them while they were waiting at the borders and then there would only and always be trouble. Of course she wished that things were different, but the simple fact of the matter was that they weren't. She didn't think it was right, but on this certain topic she couldn't say that the Hydra was wrong. Inviting any wolf to the clan's doorstep was just asking for trouble. Even the kind hearted and hopeful woman would not have done such a thing. Hybrid's next words confused her though. "What do you mean?" It seemed that Hybrid was figuring things out in his head and yet was not voicing all of the details that she needed to be able to follow along.

Rikka also didn't understand how the male could not think that coyotes would go near wolf lands. This conversation seemed to be getting weirder and weirder by the minute. By the confused look on Hybrid's face she could assume that he was having similar feelings as well. "Curiosity, wanting to cause trouble, or find something out," she said, shrugging. "The same reasons that any wolf would come here. We aren't that different from them, really. There's bad eggs in every batch but that doesn't mean they're all rotten." She had little doubt that he would find this statement of her's just as preposterous as the last, but it was the way she thought and she was giving voice to those ideas. Rikka was the odd man out here, she knew, but that wouldn't stop her from saying what she believed.
