HE WAS A PRETTY YOUNG THING

The snow had come during the night, and Gabriel had woken to find it outside of his den. It had been a surprise to wake to, but the coy-wolf was not disappointed. Snow meant that the world would be dampened, that the world would become quiet, and he was ready for that. Yawning widely and stepping out into the cold, the scarred Aquila trotted down into the wide fields. It certainly looked different, Inferni, but Gabriel was glad for it. He had needed a change, and this seemed like something that nature had agreed with.
After a few long moments, a tawny figure appeared before him. Gabriel recognized it almost instantly, and did not slow his approach. One short bark announced his presence, and the burly coy-wolf picked up his pace to meet his Hydra head on. Behind him, Gabriel’s tracks left a straight path to his destination, though at this moment, he didn’t have any intent outside of simply passing the Hydra.
