Mew had left her children in the care of her aunt. She was quite pleased with Hanna's visit. Being two mothers with a total of four children was far easier than being one with three, and she felt she had much more time on her hands than she was used to. Most of all, she had someone to talk to as well, and she had been particularly curious about Hanna's opinions on Inferni, although she had not asked. She was afraid that she might find something similar to what resided in her own heart, something which she was attempting to combat. After meeting with Jefferson she had gained a glimmer of understanding, and realized that she might have been harsh. These were the thoughts that made circles in her head every moment she had nothing to do, and these were the thoughts that did so now as she walked calmly along at random. She trusted Hanna with her children, and though Keeleigh seemed to prefer her own company, Vesle and Dexter admired their aunt greatly, and were quite happy when she had told them that they would have some alone time with the dark female. Without the concern of her children, and knowing that other responsibilities of their family were taken care of, Mew found herself in an elevated mood. She hummed as she walked along the streets of Wolfville, and what had begun as a small walk ended up taking her further.

On two legs for once, they carried her all the way across the claimed lands of Dahlia de Mai, from the human town and as far as Whisper Beach and further. She himmed absent-mindedly and did not pay attention to where she was going. All was scented with Dahlia de Mai, and all was safe and well. So at peace was she, that she had even been thinking about seeking out someone from Inferni, lately, to see if these new-found thoughts had any truth in them. But, judging by the events lately (she had only heard of them in vague terms, seeing as she didn't really pay that much attention, and kept to herself most of the time), now was not a good time to go running to Inferni. So, she would think some more, maybe talk some more to Jefferson if he would let her visit. All in all, while her life had seemed doomed only moons before, now her looks on life were quite positive. In fact, she could not really remember a time when her future had looked brighter. A small smile danced around her lips and she continued to hum. The melody was a melancholy one, but today it was merely a beautiful tune, and no longer a mirror of her own spectrum of emotion.
