No worries at all! ♥ 489

Now that she could clearly see the other canine, the similarities were remarkable. This coyote had the same oddly-colored eyes as Cotl, the brilliant red and blue all mixed into one. Kaena had never seen anything quite like it before; she had seen red and blue, but always separately, never together. The German coyotes' eyes were particularly striking because they were so unique, Kaena thought, and she offered this canine a half-smile. There were other similarities, too; this canine seemed to have numerous piercings and tattoos, just as his brother did. The hybrid seemed to recall Cotl saying something about using his brother for a lot of practice; this must have been what he meant.

The hybrid was interested in the strange hide, her single golden eye seeking his as he spoke. She nodded to his introduction. Marik. So this hybrid was Cotl's brother, after all. It would seem that the Imaginifer had spoken to Marik about her, too, though Kaena did wonder if this was out of his personal liking for her or the fact that she was a leader. She was no panjandrum; she performed her duties well and did not overinflate her position within the clan, but the hybrid was not blind to the Cotl's attraction to her. She figured that was his general demeanor—some were simply more sexual than others. At the moment, Kaena was practically frigid, and she did not know if she could withstand another man's touch. She nodded to the Praeses' question. "Kaena Lykoi," she said, introducing herself. The question regarding the tattoo prompted a grin from the silver-furred woman, and she seemed to take a little bit of embarrassment from it. "That was me, yes," she said, secretly pleased with her own work. She'd never done anything but the Chaos stars prior to that skull, and she was extremely happy that she'd been able to experiment.

The canine's interest was piqued by the idea of creating a doll; she assumed it took quite a level of skill, as she had no idea where to even begin with such a project. "That will take some effort, I imagine," she said, tilting her head to the side. "How will you put it together?" she asked, curious to know how such a thing could come together. He had something else, too, and after a moment he'd presented it to her, perhaps as a token of friendship. The hybrid woman smiled, for she was particularly fond of gifts, and she nodded, leaning in closer to inspect the object. She didn't want to reach up and snatch; Marik appeared to be working on the object still, and the coyote nodded her head enthusiastically. "Yes, I like it," she said, still with the half-smile on her face. "You are a craftsman, I take it?" It would make sense; Cotl seemed to be quite able to work with his hands, and perhaps it ran in the family.
