Though the enthusiasm in his brother's face was present, Emwe saw exactly what he wanted to see, and that was excitement beyond measuring, and certainly beyond what was really there. He saw with his silvery eyes a smaller brother who almost gasped with complete, utter, staggering amazement! Conor was thinking that his brother was a true mastermind, a detective of sorts - a true hero and a one of a kind! And he would let his smaller brother help him, take him with him on a journey of fame and adventure, one that would change their lives forever. Oh, yes, glorious thoughts. Glorious world. Treasure, eh? Just in case Conor had not understood, Emwe would elaborate. His brother should already know these things by now, though, and the chubby male could not help but feel a little disappointed in his darker twin. His voice was dreamy as he spoke now, happy but excited at the same time. "A chest with shiny bits and pieces in it... Imagine Lexey's face when I hand her golden cups and shining rings with stones on them!" It was all about impressing the ladies - otherwise why would all the books have so many pictures of human ladies with lots and lota of layers of clothing, and shiny things stuck to them everywhere? Surely, giving the shinies to the ladies was the main point, and Emwe was always looking for ways to repay Alexey for being his friend and everything. He might be quite dim, but not completely oblivious; he knew that he had cost her a lot of time.

####Emwe's tongue moved rapidly as he stood up and panted, and his eyes was all big and strange with eagerness. So keen was he, that any impression, any idea could send him hopping aong in his usual chubby way, and it was exactly what he did when Conor outwitted him. Emwe's head snapped in the direction of his brother's pointed finger, and his eyes widened as he bounced in its direction for a couple of strides with a loud exclamation of no words at all. Only until he was inside the kitchen did he hear the familiar sound of his brother racing away — that sneaky little thing! Emwe gave a loud bark as he would have when they were children and play-fought, and quickly bounded after his smaller brother. His legs were longer, but Conor was lighter. Who would get there first? He could smell the purple-eyed male not too far, yet he was out of sight, so slow were Emwe's reactions. But, he knew Conor could hear his brother, and so he called out, as if to tease. "Nobody knows where the treasure is but meeeee!" Or maybe it was to make him step down and let him win. Emwe liked to win.
