No matter how many times that you told me you wanted to leave.
No matter how many breaths that you took, you still couldn't breathe.
No matter how many nights that you lie wide awake to the sound of the poison rain

Snake's eyes wandered again. You could probably say that Daisuke was jealous at whatever he was looking at. Daisuke's other eyes returned to the other male, looking over his features with soft eyes. The boy looked down at the ground for a moment, before his eyes rose to meet Schwarz. The olive orbs of the male lingered on the watermelon eyes of the feline. Schwarz mewed again to the male, as if to ask "What are you looking at?". Though Daisuke could only pretend that he knew what the feline was talking about. Olive orbs were quick to move back up to him though, and he almost felt like he was pierced again, it was similar to the feeling he got when his piercings were done. It was an odd feeling coming from just a gaze. The cold eyes of the male finally hit him like a hundred bricks. Daisuke just smiled at the feeling. It also made him feel important to be looked at by the other male. It made him happy. He loved it when Snake looked at him straight in the eye. It distressed him when the male would look away, and once the gaze was moved to the fire, the feeling of importance was gone. Daisuke couldn't help but let his audits fall lightly. He looked back down to Schwarz, his hand again running the length of the feline.

Schwarz purred in the male's lap. Watermelon eyes were on the other sandy pelted male. Schwarz seemed to be interested in the mechanical being, though from a respective distance, simply because Schwarz was still weary of the other. You could ask why, but it is obvious because Snake took no interest in him, even when Daisuke had found the feline. He also wore the same expression. Schwarz had never seen the male smile. He'd never seen the male do any other facial expression besides that same unemotional line that his maw was always twisted in. The feline did not move from his spot, not really willing to walk up to the other male yet, simply because Schwarz knew not of the male's intentions. So, Daisuke moved his own oceanic orbs to the other male's feet. Why he was looking at his feet? Because the other male was not looking at him, and he didn't want to seem "rude". His father and mother, and even Pachi had reminded Daisuke that he was not to be looking at another in the face when they weren't looking at you. That, and when they were a dominant figure. He was never to look an Alpha in the face unless he was not of the pack. He was never to look another in the face unless they were his equal or of lower rank. The loner and the Hydra seemed to be on the same level though, so Daisuke would often let this teaching fade into the back of his mind. Right now, Daisuke felt like he was lower than the other, so he lowered his gaze.

The voice of the other male had pierced the air. He had spoke about Dahlia's alpha going in and attacking one of the Alpha's of Inferni. Kaena. Kaena Lykoi? The same one that had attacked Xeris of Phoenix Valley? More than likely. The name was rare, so he doubted that there would be another in Inferni. Daisuke's brow twitched in interest. The male went on to speak about fighting, some dying, and eventually someone winning. "So, it's Dahlia that started shit." the male commented lightly, his eyes rising back to meet the other male's gaze, even though he had been talking more-so to himself than to Snake. " I guess there is no choice but to fight then. If Dahlia's Alpha attacked out of nothing, then there is no talking things out." he went on to comment, his teeth grabbing onto his right lip ring and twisting it through the flesh. He would have grabbed his ears again, but he had no reason to block out the sound, and to cause the pain of it pulling at the flesh of the top of his audits. "...I wonder what Addison is going to do..." the male softly spoke to himself, not really meaning to speak the thought aloud. Addison was his friend from Dahlia de Mai, and the only one he knew from the pack. He couldn't help but wonder if the sweet female would too, be fighting in the war. He couldn't imagine her having the guts to go out and fight though. "I can only wish you the best of luck, My Slithering Little Snake." he had spoken, nodding his head lightly to the other male. "Other than the war, has the winter been treating you okay? Do you need anything for your den?" the male went and asked the other male if there was anything he really needed. "What about weapons? Do you need anything more than just your knife, teeth, and claws?" the male asked, figuring that they would possibly be able to go to Halifax and search for deadly things so that Snake would be protected even more so than the pack's own precautions.

Where did you go? Where did you go? Where did you go?
As days go by, the night's on fire.
