Samael Lykoi lunged for the male, baring his teeth without any fear of death. Death was an illusion. Death did not faze him. Death could wait until he was ready to met the ethereal angel cloaked in all black on his own terms. Samael Lykoi was a fucking god, and nothing could touch him. He was all dark elegance and perfection in a sleek body the shade of the deepest night, broken only by twin droplets of blood and hellfire. Haku Soul was a worthless, writhing worm to be squashed and devoured before his feet. He had taken his mother, and now he would die. He faced the wrath of heaven and hell, and none could save his soul now. His body slammed into Samael, who jerked aside at the last second, saving his face from meeting the beast’s torso. Contact had been made, and his claws dug deep into the soil, digging trenches through the frozen, snow-strewn loam to keep his body from colliding unceremoniously with the ground. Fangs flashed in the darkness, expressing rage and adoration for the pain that shocked like lightning through his body. This pain would be inflicted in return by tenfold, and so Samael did not mind the most miniscule of strikes here and there when he knew revenge would be in short order. Defeat was not an option for himself. Death lay in imminent waiting for the blue-eyed bastard that’d dared even think of touching her. The creature’s attention had shifted, turning on Gabriel and disregarding the hellish prince. Yet before he could make his presence known, ensuring the fool did not turn his back on him, another of snow-hued pelt appeared, turning on Samael without any acknowledgement. Blood-red eyes blazing against his shadow-soaked pelt, the coyote turned on the wolf, taking blows without concern as he aimed straight for his face and neck. |
