After the afternoon she had spent with Vieira she had headed back into the city to do some more exploring. At first she had found the place a bit dull, but once she had cracked its exterior she had found that there were all sorts of interesting things to find within its crumbling walls. They had used up most of her dye and so she had wanted to come and find some more to stock up on it. As the freeze really settled in on the land she wouldn’t really be able to keep up that hobby, but she could be ready to start it up again once the weather warmed. Rikka had also found another comforter to bring back to her cave. Winter wasn’t her favorite season, but she had to admit being wrapped up in all those soft blankets like a cocoon was a very nice feeling. Plus it was better to be over prepared than under and she didn’t know how many more of these trips she’d be able to make once winter hit in full force. The hybrid collected a few eclectic little trinkets that caught her eye and then decided that she better head back home before it got too dark.

She trotted back into the clan’s lands without notice and made a beeline for her cave, wanting to store away her new findings. Crawling inside she stuck the dyes in the back of the cave to store until the weather warmed and then laid out her new comforter alongside the previous one. She plopped herself down in her cozy little nest and looked out the mouth of the cave, taking in the sunset. Comfortable as she was, the open was calling to her strongly and it seemed her spirit was not yet prepared to rest. Deciding to leave her satchel behind she once again exited her dwelling and started to walk to the southwest with no particular destination in mind, she just wanted to talk a leisurely stroll before calling it a night.

Her feet carried her past the borders of Inferni and into the unclaimed lands. Rikka had cut through the edges of this forest on her trips to the city, but she really hadn’t taken the time to look at it closely. It was a little creepy, spider webs hanging almost every place you looked. She wasn’t bothered by arachnids; it just gave the place that Halloweeny feel. Vaguely she recalled that the pack that could be hostile, Dahlia de Mai, was in this direction but she wasn’t concerned. As long as she gave their borders a wide berth she figured that things would be perfectly fine.
