Anu settled beside the Commander, the tension only lingering lightly in her stance. The pack filtered into the room, many alone and then the family of Jaz. But it was Colibri that held her gaze for a prolonged moment. Her tension melted away at the sight of her, and Anu gave a soft smile of encouragement to the timid girl. This was their home and her family, there was no need to be fearful here. Anu gave small smiles of welcome to the rest, though remained silent and little more then a steady support for the commander that rose to speak before the pack.
Hearing the words made her face turned serious, grave as she turned to watch Savina for a moment, and then to the audience. Blue eyes watched softly at the reactions that came as Savi spoke. Hearing the name of the Dahlia male made Anu feel the urge to flinch, but instead she grew still in hopes of showing strength. The news of the flower pack's new leader was not new for the Lt General, but as the wolfess spoke of war, and turned to listen just as intently as the others.
It was frightening, but Anu wished the fear away so that it did not play on her features. The Commander and her feelings had been true, when they had come together just night’s before. It would be Inferni and Dahlia pinned against one another, but full fledged war? It was scary to think that such a thing would be happening, and Anu instantly thought of Gabriel. She pushed those thoughts aide, attempting to keep her emotions as bay.
The black hued wolfess reached the topic of refugees, and eyes danced over the faces of the wolves that had gathered. Anu felt that this was just as important as staying away from both Inferni and Dahlia. It was paramount that Savina and she know if any came to their lands seeking shelter, it would take the pack to protect them and Anu and Savina needed to be able to care for the family as a whole which included knowing who was among them. Blue orbs glanced at the wolves before her that she considered family, waiting in case any had questions.
