It didn’t take long until the preceding footfall was accompanied by familiar faces. Silas leaned into the doorframe, eagerly awaiting the arrival of both father and sister. What he had not expected, however, was the company of a third person. Beneath the fringe of black hair, the youth peered out with bright eyes at their guest. Had Lily found someone to direct her affection towards? After all, she was clinging to the poor boy’s arm and dragging him along. But after a moment, Silas realized his eyes were not deceiving him and the third was no boy toy of his sister’s. "Anatoliy!" His brother had found them by the gods’ good graces.
Though a hand was offered, Silas pulled his brother into an embrace. They had grown into adulthood since they had left from Russia on their ship, but that didn’t mean that he would treat his brother much differently. It had been a long time since he had seen him, and it was good to know they would have another soul around to spice up their lives. Already, Silas was picturing the mischief the two of them could work themselves into. "Это кажется так, да?" He responded, then turning to Liliya and scooping her into an embrace as well. "Это прекрасно, видеть вас снова тоже Лили." He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, releasing her from his grip before turning to his father. He had expected a visit, but a reunion (with food!) was more than he could have asked for. "Хорошо, хорошо," he informed Rurik. "Хотя мы находимся в состоянии войны с волками Далия-де-маи. Мои визиты могут быть менее частые" Any member of Inferni was targeted, inside or outside the clan’s borders.
"Ты принес праздник, а?" Motioning towards the carcass, Silas grinned with pleasure. It would be nice to catch up and welcome his brother to the foreign Nova Scotia over some food. Somehow he felt reminded of home, even though the atmosphere was so much different. He had his family tonight, and that was all that really mattered to Silas at the moment.
