Figures in black, Marching to Reunion

I am lazy, but speech is in Russian. Also, I PPed! SO THERE, SIE! +5

The smell that was rising into the air was tantalizing, and Silas couldn’t wait for his sister to have their dinner cooked and ready for them. It had been awhile since he had eaten with his family and this well. In Inferni, if the clan was not eating a meal together, the boy often went sparse on the meals. He wasn’t much of a cook like the guy he had met, Cassius, who had cooked them both meat in D’Neville’s mansion. Silas did, however, return to his roots in Russia slightly be fishing every once in awhile. The taste of fish behind his teeth brought back memories of the Russo complex, much as being united with his family here in Halifax had. The young Agata smiled lovingly onto his gathered family, listening contently as Anatoliy hassled their sister about boys.

"Oh, there are plenty of boys, Tol. Liliya just scares them all off," he waved a hand as if to shoo away any potential suitors. When his sister threw a look in his direction, Silas winked playfully at her. He wasn’t really sure who Liliya had and hadn’t talked to around here, but he did hope that she might find someone to place her affections on. That way there would be someone else out there keeping an eye on her and keeping her safe. Really, a beau for Liliya would be nothing but a win-win, though whether or not Liliya was willing to give up her independence for love, Silas didn’t know. Then again, all this was just speculation. There was no real boy in sight. Perhaps, that should have made Silas happy instead. It meant no boys would be around to break Lily’s heart… no boy for Silas to teach a lesson to.

The bright blue gaze diverted to Anatoliy, and Silas couldn’t help but chuckle at him. "Oh sorry, Tol. No excuses next time, I promise," dragging a finger across his heart sealing the deal. For a second Silas’ interested was piqued to hear about this mystery woman, but it proved that only Anatoliy’s sarcasm was coming to play. Though Silas genuinely chuckled at this, he did feel a pang of sadness in his heart. Their mother would be alone in Russia now and the boy really did miss her. He only hoped she was getting along on her own just fine.

"Suck up," Silas offered with a sly grin, though eagerly peering at the fire to see the progress on their dinner. It looked as if it soon would be done, and the smell of both the meat and spices together was enough to get the boy’s mouth watering. "Smells delicious you guys." He patted the table for his brother to join him. "Hey Tol, why don’t you tell us some about your trip? We’ve got some catching up to do." There were a lot of things he wanted to tell his brother, but many of it he’d wait until they were alone to talk about. Until then, stories of his brother's journey across the Atlantic would be more than enough to entertain Silas.
