The happiness of being back with more family was not lost on either Liliya or Rurik; both of them were utterly swept with the revelation of Anatoliy. The elder of the pair wondered just how long he'd wandered these territories, and the younger of the pair was just damn glad to have him back. The tawny-furred girl was practically prancing now that she'd been set back down, a vibrancy emanating from her that had been lacking in the weeks since Silas had departed. She missed her brother solely—not that she did not appreciate Rurik's company, but it was still going to be so nice with someone her own age around. Even as he swept her up in his arms, she writhed with excitement again. “Брат, Вы останетесь с нами, не так ли?” she exclaimed, finding it unthinkable that Anatoliy would even engage in coquetry with the idea of staying somewhere else.
The silver-furred male shook his head and laughed at the younger canine's tale. “Всегда дремля, Anatoliy!” he said, chastising his son playfully. “Четыре месяца. Я искал ваших старших братьев, но кажется, что они шли дальше.” His voice was somewhat more somber here; he had expected to find the old lands whole and intact, and with their burning it would seem that he was even worse off in his chances of finding them. “Силас двигался в Inferni.
