With her eyes closed, she could only imagine what Kaena was doing. What her face looked like and how she was reacting. The movement of her coming closer made her eyes part only a fraction to see the hazy outline of the woman. The warmth of her skin against her own made her feel a little more comfort. She pushed her nose against the woman's muzzle and her eyes closed again to hide away the images. Her words did little to soothe her but the touch spoke volumes. Kaena had done little to hurt her (aside from her first punishment) and the only thing she could draw to mind was the stress she went through to try and make her happy. Perhaps Vieira was trying too hard but it was all she knew how to do.
"They laugh," she whispered, finding she could not speak much louder than that. What they laugh at, she was never really sure. It was when she stressed herself out and made things far worse than they really were. "It's hard," she added in the same fashion as before. She could not raise her voice but Kaena had gotten closer and surely could hear her. She struggled to keep talking about it but she needed to do something. Kaena had done so much for her in the last two days, since she had gotten hurt. The slave had never put an ounce of blame on her owner but had, instead, carried the weight of it all. Astaroth praised her for such an action and it only conflicted her further.
"Why do they not go away?" she asked as if Kaena had the answer, whether or not she did. Her world was based on her owner and her owner was supposed to know all; at least all Vieira was supposed to be concerned with. Whether or not Kaena had such an answer was hidden for now but Vieira desperately hoped for it. Kaena offered to help her just moments before and indirectly, Vieira found something to search for. It was not like her to speak out like this but her mind was clouded with the pain and Kaena was here to help. None of her owners had shown a kindness like this.
