The physical touch between the two canines was more than welcomed. It was unexplainable and she did not flinched, cringe, or tense up because Kaena was so close to her. Vieira to not feel threatened and did not feel as if the woman would turn on her and do anything that often times made her scared to do anything. It was a feeling that Vieira welcomed with open arms and wanted to hold onto forever, a feeling she did not want to give away. She rarely, if ever, felt this sort of emotion and she did not take it for granted. She held it carefully to her heart because she did not know if she would ever feel this way again. She did not want to find herself hurt and at the brink of death to have this sort of comfort and freedom of her mind. Vieira had no idea what sort of lifestyles were out there for her aside from slavery, was afraid of anything else, but she could live like this. She knew the boundaries between herself and the hybrid woman but if she could live without the fear, perhaps she would be healthier; physically and mentally, and be able to make it through the day with a little more confidence each time.

Even talking about this sort of topic did not give her fear of her owner. There was fear of her attacker but she felt safe. Kaena would protect her and her actions in the last two days was enough to prove that. The former conflict and the anger her woman had surpassed and her owner seemed to be interested in what she was talking about, giving her advice that may or may not be true. "They laugh when I do something wrong," she said quietly, keeping her voice at a whisper as she had before and as Kaena was doing. Speaking like this made her feel like they could not hear her but they still laughed, snickered, or mocked her. They found ways to get into her mind even when she tried her hardest. Mentally, she was not strong. Astaroth had broken that. Vieira had tried to build herself up when she was younger but he had taken over and made sure there was no way he could not get to her. He controlled every part of her and it was obvious he succeeded because he still controlled her mind. If Kaena did not punish her, he did. It was just as painful to go through. When she did something wrong (or what she considered wrong from previous experiences) he was there to take over, regardless of Kaena saw it or not.

Vieira lifted her eyes slightly to look at the woman's nose, feeling the hot breath coming from her nostrils and finding comfort in it. Astaroth shook that from her and her golden eyes closed as he spoke. She's toying with you, Vieira, he said and her ears twitched upon her head, resting as they angled back on her skull, just like everyone else. She's lying. Her facial muscles tightened and she withdrew from the touch of the woman as if it were true. He was out to destroy anything good she had and the best way was to start with Kaena. It built over time but the kindness the woman was showing was what needed to be tainted first. The slave depended solely on whoever controlled her and put her faith that they would take care of her. If they did not, her feelings did not change but she lost any happiness she could have had. Going to Eris once Sivaro had passed away had given her hope; that family would be a little better but it was worse in her own way. Vieira had little ideas of family but it was thrown out the window when she was mistreated and forgotten by her supposed sister. When the power of three owners started to overtake the kindness of one, Vieira was easy to believe the voice in her head.

She tried not to make it obvious and continued to rest. She kept her muscles relaxed but her nose no longer touched that of the older woman. "He knows when I do wrong," she whispered, adding on to her former statement a moment later. However, her and Astaroth's idea of doing wrong was different from Kaena's. It was different from anyone here and she could not find that they would be easier on her than anyone else. Wrong was wrong, no matter what it was, and it all resulted in the same punishment that brought pleasure to her owners. They found happiness in it and for so long she had to try and find her own happiness even when they pushed her to the point where she was about to break. They always snapped her back to keep her on her toes and it was the reason her life might end up being shorter. The stress on her shoulders on a daily basis, mentally growing up faster than she was supposed, and everything in between played a toll on her. Vieira knew not of what a real childhood was supposed to be, having never really been around children, and she did not know what she missed out on. Good girl, he whispered, and she realized he had found away for her to confess all she had done wrong that Kaena missed. She brought it out in the open and his goal was succeeded. The woman would ask and she would be force to explain.

The slave let out a long sigh and a soft whimper, hoping to find some sort of mercy from her owner. With Astaroth's voice, she found a new paranoia and a new wave of fear. Her entire comfort zone that was around prior was now gone and she attempted to curl her legs up into herself and draw her arms to her chest. Her muscles were tight as she waited, regretting ever bringing it up at all.
