[M] - those who live are those who fight

Vitium could feel the weight of the daggers that he had strapped to his body, each weight reminding him that there was blood to be paid. He smiled to himself as he stood beside Kai and eyed the decorations of the border. For too long he’d wanted to leave his mark on the clan’s lands and it seemed like today he would get that chance. He nodded to the other male as he agreed. ”Sounds like a plan to me.” a warped smile spread across his lips as the whisper man agreed. This would be well worth it and he hoped that his foolish mother and brother dearest would realize that they weren’t here to play games anymore.

His eyes rose to the decorations as he realized the icy blue eyed male had given his name. Vitium grinned foolishly as he gave his own. ”I’m Vitium, and you don’t know how long I’ve waited for this...” There was no need for further explaining, the need to shed blood, to cause havoc in the lands and to return home splattered in the gore of their enemies to show that they were worthy members of the pack. Kai didn’t know how much Vitium needed this, he needed to show Haku that he was here for more than a rift between mother and son, sibling on sibling; he would show him that he was able to be trusted and he would carry out the tasks appointed to him. A dark chuckle rose from his throat as he turned his eyes to easily excitable male that was traveling with Kai and himself now.

It seemed that the second member of the three thug crew wasn’t waiting for a command to attack and Vitium let out a cackle of amusement as he watched Sicarus throw his fury out at the decorations. It didn’t take Vitium but a moment to follow in his path and set his sights on the skulls that decorated spikes plunged deep into the ground. Vitium uprooted the spike and cracked it against the tree, shattering the sun bleached skulls to shards. He kept swinging the spear of wood until there were just remnants and a powdering of calcium upon the newly made weapon. He grinned to himself as he moved toward the next spear with the skulls of the unlucky upon it.

Taking a swing and cracking the first spear into the side of the second he heard the crack of another skull splitting in two, not stopping to further destroy the first he set off down the line to annihilate each and every one of the skulls within his reach. If they were lucky they would be able to clear out a nice section of skulls before the skinny sorry excuse for infantry appeared to discourage their plans. He couldn’t wait,
