The tawny furred werewolf limped about the border, feeling more than a little bit lame after the attack on Inferni the other day. He even had a makeshift cane, some stick that he'd picked up. He was extremely sore and feeling rather angry about the whole thing—after all that he'd only managed to destroy two of their stupid skulls before the dipshit on the horse had charged in and ruined everything. The cut across his chest sang with pain, but he would not be stopped from doing his duty. Dahlia de Mai needed him; he could not afford to sit around and do nothing. There was a veritable need for his services. Dahlia de Mai was sadly filled with women, Sicarus knew; there were fewer men than there were women. Women would not do the job of the border patrol properly; this was something Sicarus was absolutely certain of.

The tawny male continued on very slowly; he only planned to browse the area close to home. Wandering too far might land him in a bad spot, and with a distinct lack of energy in the way he walked, Sic certainly appeared to be rather ill or injured. The wolf's Optime form made for better walking, so it was in this form, covered from head to toe in his maroon robes, that the Italian wolf browsed the borders. A strange scent entered his nose; he had been able to identify most of his packmates at the meeting, and he knew this scent was not among them. Steeling himself, the wolf gripped onto his stick a little tighter, walking closer to the newcomer, now in sight. As Sic noticed quite quickly, this stranger was armed, and something about him didn't seem quite right. Sic was not about to speak out harshly against the newcomer—in fact, he was quite ready to yowl for Kai to come to back him up. The weapons spoke volumes to Sicarus, who frowned at this stranger, leveling his orange eyes at the stranger's face. "Looking for something in particular?" he asked, wanting to ascertain the wolf's business here. Could be that this was just another recruit, like he'd been. Could be this was an Inferni spy. Sic did not smell Inferni on the other canine, though what did Sicarus really know?
