In Character

The tawny-furred male had already assessed the other canine as one who was worthy of respect; he might not have been terribly physically impressive, but his blades spoke worlds of power, and that was certainly something the Bluet could understand. In his frangible, injured condition he could hardly afford to pick fights, anyway, and the tawny werewolf had already decided it would be best to play it nice and cool. So he even went so far as to offer a brotherly smile to the other man, though as with most of the smiles the Italian wolf offered, it did not light his eyes. Those smiles only came about in moments of maniacal glee, when he was tearing something to pieces or otherwise destroying it.

Dahlia de Mai was full of women; they needed every able-bodied man they could get, and this wolf appeared to be just that type. So the werewolf tossed back his hood, revealing his face to the other wolf. "Why, brother, you've come to just such a place," he said, a little too brightly for his own tastes. "This is Dahlia de Mai, led by the Great and Glorious Haku Soul," he said, deciding that was a fitting title for their most exhalted and wonderful leader. "I am Sicarus de Ericeto, one of his loyal followers," he said, practically oozing fanboy for his Rosen. "Perhaps, you might be able to stay with us," the wolf said. "I assume you possess some skill with your blades?" he inquired, figuring they were not just for show. One didn't haul around weapons like that without some idea of how to use them—though, now that he could see clearly, the werewolf noticed that the holsters were purely intended for a Lupus form; there were no expansive parts to allow for a growing, shifting body. This intrigued him, but he allowed the newcomer to speak his piece, figuring he'd already said plenty.
