In Character

Sicarus had no right to accept or deny anyone entrance in the clan; this he knew well. Haku Soul was the only one who had the power to do that in Sic's eyes. No one could be admitted without being thoroughly inspected the the Leader himself. Even he had been lucky to fall into the chocolate-furred man's good graces, he figured. There was no reason Haku Soul needed anybody, really—he was a powerful force on his own, able to evince his control over Dahlia with little more than a howl, assembling all of them at once to hear his magnificent words of war. Sicarus had never been to war before, but he sensed that it was an opportunity to prove himself loyal to his Rosen. He would do anything to make himself useful to Haku; strong leaders needed followers, and Sicarus wanted to make sure he was just the man for his chocolate-furred alpha.

The wolf put his fingers to his chin for a moment, stroking at the creamy fur there as he gave the wolf a second glance-over. The straps used to hold his swords were interesting, indeed. The werewolf didn't push it; he assumed Haku would be able to cover everything he wanted to know, and since this was Sicarus's first time greeting newcomers, he didn't want to overdo it and waste too much time. "Well, it's good to hear that—not that you've been in a tussle, of course, but that you're of an able hand," he said solemnly, hoping his brother was well. He didn't appear to be too injured, anyway. "It is good to meet you, RJ. I will call for the Great Haku for you," he said, smiling brightly. He took a few steps backwards and turned his head to the center of the territory, lifting his muzzle skyward. Sicarus had a deceptively pretty voice, rather light and airy in tune. It was fitting for his smallish appearance but not so much for his dark personality.
