The Rosen’s attention seemed to rest fully on the Dahlian member and as he was offered the limited information on the stranger chocolate ears swiveled back towards fur dressed in the colour of wealthy soil. The name “Jefferson” made the beast think of the man that supposedly was his half brother. They had met once in these lands, but not more. Haku was completely indifferent when it came to family ties, for he was alone in the world and he had been sent to burn it. Mew Sadira was the only relative that he had attempted to form a bond with. For some time it had worked, hell, maybe it even had been real, but Haku had fallen far from grace and only felt a hole where his emotions should be. Yes, his heart was merely a crater filled by that darkness that once had started out as the faintest of whispers in his head – so harmless.
He turned his face to the stranger and looked his weapons over. Human weapons, if wielded well, could be extremely dangerous. On the side of the Rosen’s left shoulder and down along right front limb were three healing holes. A human firearm was deadly if used properly and he knew that there was at least one coyote that possessed a human device that exploded into sound and threw a bullet almost faster than the eye could detect. Luckily none of the bullets had managed to dig deep down into his flesh because of the angle and distance that had played in, but had she been closer then a bullet to the head could have been enough to a normal Dahlia member. Haku knew who had almost taken Mew Sadira’s life and it was actually a bit funny that it had been a mere girl that had done the deed.
”Do you know well how to end a life with those blades, Sangster?” the Rosen wondered, seemingly not very interested, but secretly intrigued. Haku had never battled with weapons. A young male had once attacked him with two blades, but had not been particularly skillful with them. Fangs and claws often proved just as good and Haku together with his beloved blood rage was a magnificent warrior in the heat of the battle.
