Sorry for the short post, just wanted to get a reply up before my muse went back to sleep

It did not take long for the Dauphine to find the stranger she was seeking. In fact, the stranger found her, more or less. They had both been rounding a corner when all of the sudden the stranger spoke first, leading Ruri to jump in surprise. Scolding herself inwardly for not paying closer attention, the blind woman collected herself before replying. "I'm Ruri Aceline, Dauphine and Lautari of Cour des Miracles. Not to be rude, but you're trespassing. Are you looking for someone?" Her inquiry was justified, for she wanted this other girl to give her a good reason for her trespass. The ivory and silver female was not one to be mean, or rude to others, but Jac would want her to be firm about enforcing the pack's rules. She was second in command after all. So, if this stranger gave a good reason for venturing so far in the pack lands, Ruri would understand and warn the woman to be more mindful next time.

As she awaited the stranger's explanation, the lautari absentmindedly flipped her long hair back over her shoulder. Her startled jump had displaced some of the long silvery strands and the lautari was returning them to their correct position. Even this action was purely out of habit, for she could not see her hair to tell how it looked. It had always just seemed better to have it all hanging down her back, out of her way.
