Though the female was tall, large in shoulders and almost a head above her own brother Mati was not one to fight. She was stern, determined at times but she had never fought against anything or anyone. The home that Savina and her adoptive mother Anu had created for her was a peaceful one, and there was no way that she could actually thank them for it without being quite awkward but she noticed and appreciated it. The war would be kept happily far from their borders, at least she knew that was the intentions of the pack's leaders. She could only wish that it was possible, and that Silas was kept out of the fray of battle as well. The scar on his face did not suit him, at least not in her eyes. His face was something that deserved the soft subtle features that he naturally owned.
"Yeah." Mati agreed, knowing what it could be like to be without one's own mother. Though Naniko was not a million miles away with an ocean in between, she might as well be. At his next question Mati perked a bit, finding it interesting that he didn't know what a mural was. But of course his English was not his first language, and so perhaps he had another word for it. "Its a large, large painting." she explained, her arms stretched out wide to emphasize the hugeness. "My friend Strel wanted something to decorate his room, so I started painting one of his walls." Deep violet eyes looked at his face with a small smile, speaking of something beyond war easily brought the grin back to life.
