Mati liked the idea of helping Silas, just as much as she liked the idea of painting a new mural. The one she had done for Strel was something she was extremely proud of and the fact that Strel liked it just as much or even more then she did made the experience even more positive. It could be a landscape or a scene of some sort. It was hard for her to just pick out a picture that she thought Silas would enjoy. The picture that she had done on Strel’s walls had been in her mind for months, but now she was without any ideas.

Ever since she was young the Church woman sought out book after book that held the pictures of paintings. There had been a few paintings in the Manor, and she had even gone to the city to find more and more. They were all so beautiful, and she was thankful that she was able to find blank canvases to paint on, it was too hard to paint over something another artist had created, even if a few that she had found in the cellar of her home were seemingly half completed. Russia seemed to hold many intriguing things, she wondered if he ever considered the art that had lived there until she had brought it up. There are many places in the city that have them hanging, there is one place that all they have is wall covered with canvases. Galleries, small museums of works by human long, long dead.
