What news Savina had shared was not something Mati found comforting. Of course it wasn't, it was news of war and news of danger. It made a chill run down her spine and made her think of the female in Dahlia that she had met only once and already hated. She had been the one to push Ares away, and make him leave. How she had felt about the male was not gone completely, but with his absence she felt it floating away slowly. Memories were not always set in stone, and she couldn't remember exactly how she felt right then and there, and so she contorted the feelings slightly, pieces falling away and being replaced by how she thought she felt or would feel in such a situation. She hate that she was slowly forgetting him.

Knowing that staying in the pack's lands was paramount Mati walked towards the lake, and wandered only the shores that Crimson Dreams claimed. The sun hovered above, and its light had begun a thawing of snow and ice, though she was sure that the next day would just bring more cold. It was the sort of day that just called for her to enjoy it, and so the female tried. Eyes danced over the lake, the picture perfect scene that was her image of home. It was comforting, and as she recognized the feeling she was thankful that she had decided to venture east.

A foreign scent lingered forward, caught on the soft warm wind and Mati slowed as she deciphered it. it was of Inferni, and she grew fearful as she stopped in her tracks. It was close, too close for her to ignore it and Mati found that she walked towards it instead of running from it. There was something else, and when she saw the figure against the rock beside the lake it wasn't until she caught the bright blue fabric that she could tell that this was someone she knew. It was dangerous for him to be here, to not have called before enter the borders. She walked towards him, slowly and unsure why he smelled so much of Inferni.
