Private for Marik, mature for sexins and mild violence! Sorry, short. D: 420 words.

#####It was safe to say that she was still at the house in the city, rather than back in Dahlia. She would return to her pack lands soon, she was sure, but for now, Lolita was pretty happy to stay at the scent-marked house. There was no harm in taking a few days for herself every once in a while, and she was actually really enjoying her time in the city, even if she still was not completely happy with the idea of being surrounded by human objects. It was not very likely that she was missed in Dahlia at the moment, considering how preoccupied everyone must be with the war against Inferni, and she also was not the most social member of the pack. The only one she really knew was Haku, now, and it seemed glaringly obvious that he would not have time for her. He was the head of this war, and she was just one of his puppets now. No, she was rather enjoying her time in the city. It had not even been lonely time, really, since she’d had a few visitors since deciding to spend some time alone in the city.

#####Instead of sitting on the front stoop as she had done for so many days in a row now, Lolita was in the main bedroom, lying on the floor beside the dried blood on the matching carpet. She was lying flat on her back, her legs crossed over one another, hands folded across her flat stomach. Flaming hair fanned her lean face, and she was completely content to lay there with her eyes closed. She did not expect anyone to come traipsing into this house, since she had marked it decently with her own scent in much the same way that alphas did with their pack’s territory. It was just an old house in the city, but she was the queen of it, and she would be damned if anyone was going to try and take it from her. Company was sometimes a decent thing—though she was definitely not always in the mood for it—but she was not expecting any company now that she was inside and relaxing. This was her space, somewhere for her to stay and to keep her stuff (albeit she had very few things, and what she did have was tucked beneath the bed in her satchel). Surely no one would bother her today, uninvited and without her sitting out front. She would be happy either way.
