In Character

Janos had a philosophy: to live life to the fullest, no matter the situation. Somehow, despite this bright outlook, he had found himself in a spiraling depression. The creature was without family, friends, company. He was left alone, or at least to the point that all he had left were his thoughts. He seemed to have drifted through the past couple of days with nothing more than a flick of his ear in one general direction or another. He had managed to get himself two rabbits in the past week, and yet the fact that he wasn't eating very much didn't change his lifestyle. He moved through the territories as if he were a ghost on the lands, without a purpose, without a voice. In all truth, he had not used his vocals since arrival in that strange land. At that point, he had considered moving on without having second thoughts on if his family was there or not. If they did live in the lands that encompassed that place, they would have left some sort of scent, or so he had imagined. The more he thought of it, he wondered if he was wrong and that he wouldn't be coming across any one of the Russo family members.

Those long alabaster legs had carried him across of number of terrains. He had taken his life and put it behind him; at that point, there was no reason in his movement, but a mechanical pushing of his legs. The cobalt-eyed male simply made himself keep going through the day. Janos was not prone to being depressing or alone, but as of late, he felt as if he had no other choice. He could find no-one, and even if he were able to seek out some sort of stranger to talk to, they were not family. At any rate, he was becoming increasingly desperate, and would have settled for any sort of conversation as long as it provided him with an intelligent means of letting go of his emotions.

The hybrid moved through the village slowly, as if taking in every surrounding and saving it in his mind; a permanent picture that would never disappear from his memory. The area did not offer him any change from what he had been through in the past couple of days and that left him quite tired and bemused with his situation.

Janos flicked his tail back and forth, offering no sort of emotion with the movement, but a simple gesture as if to remind himself that he was still alive. He let his sky blue eyes trail the area, having seen just about everything that he wanted to see, or needed to see, and then he moved through it. There wasn't a single thought on the male's mind. Nothing seemed to perplex him, which was a strange occurrence for the typically thoughtful creature. The Russo male had once been able to find a question in everything that he saw, and yet things were beginning to look very blase. A sigh escaped from his parted jaws and his long ears flicked forward to catch the sounds that might have echoed from the places around him but there was nothing. He could have figured as much. Not only had Janos grown increasingly lonely, but he was rather cynical at that point, and had not expected to find a single soul worth companionship. So, he continued his trek.
