Haku’s hunger for knowledge of other evils found its origin in his own sickness. Haku was destined to run alone in the dark, it had become so much clearer now. Haku appreciated the monsters he encountered because he could see the ugly beauty of the taint within their black hearts. They were close to kin, though most of them would wander this world in solitude. That was their curse, but in return they were granted numbness and love and fondness for what the rest of the world feared and hated. In Larkspur’s homeland the darkness had crowded and was recognized for what it was, then removed. They were alone because that was how they survived. They would scatter across the lands and push forward for their apocalypse. Haku could clearly see the end of the world coming. The black ghosts with their empty eyes and black fangs gaping as the ninth’s vessel moved past. The cracks would open up and fire would climb up and turn all living creatures into ashes. First red rain had to fall to the ground.

A thin, empty smile was offered the multi hued loner in front of him. Ears perked and took in the words and he was instantly pleased when he realized where the man was headed. Haku recruited to waste souls, but the demons were immortal and would stand in the distance and watch the snow turn pink and melt. He needed a second fallen archangel by his side, though he was uncertain if this man truly was the second companion he sought. ”Speak,” the blue eyed beast commanded in a gentle and devilish tone, stepping closer and offering premature appreciation by not charging blindly at the free meat that carried various objects on its back. Yes, Haku could still appreciate beauty within others, though most would find what he saw gruesome.
