one fish, two fish!

Hi there! 300+

After spending the night in a den she'd found, an old abandoned badger hole of all things, Fae wanted nothing more than to explore Dahlia de Mai. She was a creature with the desire to be aware at all times, and having no clue where her new pack's territory spanned made her uncomfortable. This was especially true considering the war that was apparently going on, a festering concept in the back of her mind, like a plague. She had to know the area in order to feel remotely secure, though security was a virtue she never expected to completely grasp. It was always just out of reach for her.

The gray fem regretted having walked into such a goatfuck, but at some level it made her strangely happy. The excitement of it could lend her purpose, and she may no longer have to simply drift through her life like a phantom. Her thoughts spun around in her mind as she headed toward the coast, her pace fast and with its usual characteristic urgency. The beach was warmer, somehow, and the sand felt nice on her paws. Fae paused and let her dark nose linger as the breeze shifted, her nostrils quavering to capture the details of an unfamiliar scent. She cast her cobalt gaze down the beach, and there, perched in the sand, was a scrawny creature. Her heart sped up; the shape was distinctly canine, but too small and slender to be wolf. She mused that he was perhaps a Dahlian with only a fraction of wolf blood, like her. Fae loped toward him, closing the distance between them. She paused on her side of the invisible border, her stance alert and cautious with ears and shoulders erect, her tail poised high behind her. The black feather flickered in the wind, dancing as if to mock him. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice cool and dangerous.
