Shiloh Hills

The whispers of Dahlia’s and Inferni’s war were still circulating, and until the Lt. General heard and confirmed the end of the fighting she would be persistent in her patrols. It was least she could do, and at the same time sticking closer to home. It had been some time since she had traveled any great distance, or stayed from her mansion home for the night. Each night she traveled home, checking to see how the pack faired and then rising in the tendrils of the early light and heading out once more. She was due for a day just to cling to the Manor and rest. But that was not this day.

The tawny slight female traveled over snow covered hills, passing few trees and skirting around the large Rabbit Lake and out into the world that did not belong to the Dreaming pack. The sky held many grays, a thick glow the only evidence of a Sun, and a wandering wind that ran along the low lying hills periodically. The trees she past were what Anu thought to be middle aged, tall but not as tall as they would some day grow. The secondary type forests held the adolescences of oak and other bare-branched trees, some small undergrowth that she could hide behind if she found the need.

With no threat in the air Anu simple wandered, taking in the scents that came and passing by all that she found uninteresting.
